This rating is best for the beginner looking at the mechanics. I'm not an expert on mechanical boards as this is MY first but I have to say this z-88 does not disappoint. So far I've always used devices hand to hand, with the exception of an Apple MB110LL/B a couple of years ago which I really liked. It took me about a day to get used to the clicking sound, which I initially thought would go away. violate the terms of the contract. After that it got even worse. I quickly learned to love the conformational click with every keypress, and unless you're in an environment where noise is a nuisance to others, I bet you won't be either. I'm not a big fan of RGB, so the many options on this board were one of the main selling points. The quality (to me who came to the store for the first time) seems really good, sturdy and well put together. I love the minimalist size and the rubber feet are a feature I never knew I was missing. They really hold this board in place. My game has improved thanks to KNOWING when I'm actually pressing a key. hear it and feel it. I wish I had bought this many years ago.
