Bought medium size. I have medium length, curly, medium thick hair. I use high heat on a hair dryer. The brush grabs my hair well, gives the hair a good bounce. Almost like roller skates. Easy to hold. Looks well done. Dries fast. Here's a big but and why I deducted a star: Part of this brush gets too hot. It's closer to the top, see photo. This isn't the actual tip of the brush, but the part that's left after the teeth come out, or whatever they're called. I was very wary after reading some reviews that mentioned how hot the brush gets. I purposely went quickly from section to section to avoid damaging/burning the hair. However, I burned my neck. Not much because I moved it very quickly. When I tested it with my finger, it was dangerously hot. I lowered the heat to medium, checking again and again with my finger, and after a few minutes it cooled down. It's a shame, because if you're in a hurry, you could hurt yourself. I'll try using the brush on medium heat and see what happens. If the brush melts or I get burned again I will give an update. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a brush. Too dangerous for neck or ear burns.
