I have brought back the TomTom Universal Dashboard Mount. The problem isn't with the TomTom Dashboard Mount itself. In fact, the TomTom Dashboard Mount has a wide base (less likely to slip off) and is quite heavy (more stable) and might work. The problem was that the phone stand and suction cup stand were not securely attached to the TomTom dashboard mount. The suction mechanism is stable as long as I don't add the weight of my iPhone Plus to its stand, so the first thing I did was buy a TomTom dash mount and phone stand. I think the problem lies in an unreliable suction mechanism. If you have a reliable suction mechanism I would recommend the TomTom dash mount.
