Drying with a hair dryer did not help. It was easy to handle but not hot at all. It was piercingly loud at high frequencies and left my ears ringing for about 15 minutes after using it. It didn't dry well at high temperatures and hair stayed frizzy (I used Aragonese oil and a leave-in, it's so weird we ended up with curly hair). I bought this for my 11 year old daughter to blow dry her hair. We're going back as it's bad for our ears. Honestly, should be banned due to possible hearing loss. The smaller fan increases the noise, so I knew it would be loud, but it was ridiculous. The replacement hairpieces were good and worked well only positive things we could supply.
