Review on LASFIT Headlight Newest Switchback Conversion by Ronnie Staver

Edit 05/27/21: I deducted a star because I sometimes have trouble switching white to yellow and yellow to white. It would take many, many tries. It's just quite contradictory and uncomfortable. Quality control could be better in this area. I have always trusted SNGL LED light bulbs. I have many of these and have never let me down. I tried many other brands but could never find one that matched the quality of the SNGL brand. I mean at $130 they are better than most if not all other LED bulbs. Today I installed these Lasfit H11 bulbs for my fog lights on my 2005 Nissan Xterra. Lasfit is a brand that I also trust. I have their LED brake and turn signal bulbs and they are amazingly bright and very red. But I have never tried their LED headlights/fog lights. I saw this and decided to give it a try. I had a 188 lux SNGL H11 white LED installed at about 25 feet for just one lamp. Replaced them with Lasfit H11 white-yellow LED. I'm impressed that the white LED output is 191 lux at about 25 feet. Now remember I've had the SNGL LED for about a year. Could it have lost some of its brightness? 🤔 But optically both look the same. Don't ask me what the yellow exit is because it's pathetic. This is to be expected, so don't hate it just because it's well below 100 lux. However, remember that yellow is actually better for the human eye as it can see through rain, fog, snow and other weather conditions. I took some pictures at night. My camera was having all sorts of focus problems because my headlights and fog lights were so damn bright. So I took my photos from the driver's door, which is probably a bit more useful than shooting from the front. 1st photo - headlights with white fog lights 6000k; 2 photos - only headlights, without fog lights; 3rd photo - headlights and yellow fog lights 3000k. I don't usually write reviews immediately after using a product. But I was very happy with it, so I thought I'd revisit it now. If the situation worsens in the future, I will edit my review.
