Review on 🎧 Bose RC-PWS III Universal Remote Control: Enhanced Control for Solo TV Sound & CineMate Speaker Systems by Yolette Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is the same remote that came with the Bose Solo 5

I bought the Solo 5 (soundbar + this remote included) a few years ago and have been using the remote's merging feature with different connections to the TV I have I guess I wasn't paying attention and recently bought what I thought was the same soundbar/remote, but it was a smaller version (dubbed "Solo") consisting of the same soundbar with easy on/off/volume. Remote control. Adding this remote to a second TV turns it back into a Solo 5. To avoid a headache I'd recommend getting the Solo 5 package if you want that little Bose soundbar. If you lost or damaged your original remote, this is a great replacement. When you add the cost of buying the Solo 5 over the Solo and this remote, you end up paying about $10 more to buy the two pieces piece by piece. The remote has a slight detachment problem if it isn't aimed properly at the electronic group, either at the right angle or for the right time when you press the power button. In my case, the soundbar and cable often turn on and off at the same time, and the TV doesn't sync. This is easy to fix: press the TV button and then the "Power" button. Then press the cable button again and everything will sync back up. My only concern is that it won't pair with my Blu-Ray no matter what I do. However, I prefer this to the option of dealing with more remotes than I have in hand.
