The software it comes with is fine for transferring records to modern formats, BUT 1 - the sleeve looks crappy live, its handle and clasp look like they belong in a school lunch box, not a $100 one -Piece. 2 - the speakers themselves are so-so 3 - when connected to the RCA connectors the speakers are not turned off and there is no switch to manually turn the speakers off, it would be nice if they allowed you to do that Using headphones a bit awkward 4 - the quality of the RCA connectors is also so-so. Buy something more expensive unless it's for informal use.
