It seemed like my cat Sweetloaf had been shopping for scratchers ahead of time because as soon as I opened the box and took the plastic off she immediately jumped in and curled up. She was also pleased to find that 20 bag of catnip stuck to the bottom. She loves when we sprinkle the catnip into the scratcher. We keep this mat underneath to catch the catnip because the it falls through the bottom eventually.
