Our Samsung gas cooker started to develop problems with poor ignition, spattering and reignition about 2 months ago. After a few google and youtube searches we concluded that this was the stove's main ignition as the pressure in the gas line was good and all the other burners and nozzles lit properly. So we bought this replacement, rolled up our sleeves and got to work. That! Pros: - Fairly easy installation: check out the YouTube video for your particular oven... We had to remove 8 Phillips screws and the hardest part was reconnecting the wires to the back of the warming drawer slot. - Proper Wire Connector: Some replacement parts require you to cut and splice wires together. This unit comes with the correct connection cable, making rewiring literally instantaneous. Price: Compared to Samsung's OEM replacement, this was about a third the price. Side by side we can't even tell what the difference is between this device and the original (see photo) Cons: - Not really... Did its job! Took over 30 minutes to install... It took about 18 minutes to heat up from 400F to less than 6 minutes and no longer "puffs" when lit!
