We LOVE our Vidalia chopper and due to constant use have replaced it. It seemed like a fantastic addition to reduce cleaning, but unfortunately the design falls short of expectations. Considering they're supposed to save you a few minutes using a scraper under a faucet to scrape plant debris out of the slots, this thing takes too long to turn on and off. It doesn't quite fit and seems to shrink a bit in the dishwasher? But what's worse, it just doesn't work that well. After carefully chopping with an onion chopper, you take off the zucchini and there's still junk inside. So you still have to clean it as usual…. Very bad. I'm wondering if a slightly more flexible plastic/silicone that can form between the small slits would work better? Although a great idea.
