I bought this unit because it was the size, style and price I was looking for. There were no reviews, but I accepted the ad because I read reviews of other Mounting Dream wall mounts and they were very positive. I have to say I am very happy with this mount. I use it to install a 42 inch Sharp LCD TV. He got up very easily and quickly. The instructions were concise and clear (I've done this several times so I'm not a beginner). The box came with hardware to attach to studs or masonry. He also had devices for flat screens or curved-back televisions. I had no trouble installing the TV and mounting it on the rails. Fit and finish are excellent. It's durable and holds the TV in place well. It doesn't block left or right movement, but it doesn't move on its own. I find it very well balanced and it doesn't require too much force to move the TV and it stays where I left it. To use this mount, the studs must be 16 inches apart. Anything up or down doesn't work. The only thing that bothered me was hanging the TV on the bracket. The hole pattern on my TV was about the same width as the bracket. I had no more than 1/8 inch on each side. But it has a locking screw on each vertical rail to keep it secure. Result. This is a very good device and I am very happy with it. I will definitely get a Mounting Dream wall mount for my next project.
