I purchased this frame for my new Purple mattress based on the reviews. The two things most people were disappointed with in their reviews are the same features I am disappointed in; the message feature and the plastic legs. The message motors are just a noise. They do nothing for you, not with a Purple mattress anyway. The do make a lot of noise though. Those could be removed and the money for the motors and wiring harnesses could be put into metal adjustable legs and this bed frame would be perfect! Others complained about the remote buttons not having back lighting and require a button being pressed to see what the buttons are, but that doesn't bother me. I memorized the buttons by shape and placement and don't even have to see it to operate it. At first I memorized the "under bed light" button which doesn't effect the position of the bed to light up the remote, and the "flat" button which if you are already flat, does nothing but it lights the remote. There are other buttons you can press too that won't adjust the bed but light up the remote, like the "mode" button, very bottom, middle button! The top right is "pair" button, same thing! Easy Peasy! I have developed hip pain this past year and have had lower back and neck pain through the years! My hips only hurt now if I sit an extremely long amount of time in one position, like traveling, but I don't wake up with hip pain or lower back pain anymore. I extend my arms most of the day either to a keyboard or steering wheel for my career, so I can't expect my bed to fix that! Between my new Purple mattress and being able to elevate my feet to eliminate pressure to my lower back and hips and my upper body until I don't feel like any muscles are strained, I feel like so much better when I wake up everyday, and often sleep through the night and rarely slept through the night before because I would wake up with something hurting.It's worth the money!
