Unfortunately, after only 5 or 6 uses, the inner liners of a pair of zipped bags right next to the zip have completely opened up and become so worn that they keep getting caught in the zip, rendering these bags unusable. I liked this backpack until it started. I loved this backpack for day trips, small trips outdoors, and love how many zippered pockets it has for a variety of things. The straps were so long I cut and tied them and they seem to be holding up. Water bottle bags are great for larger, narrower bottles, but they hold them well.** If you ever have to search through them in a security check queue (sporting event, Disney, etc.), be prepared to take your turn, as there are some so many zippers. ! Unfortunately on one pair of zipped bags after only 5 or 6 uses the inner liners right next to the zip completely detached and wore out, constantly getting stuck in the zip and rendering these bags unusable. I loved this backpack until it started!
