I didn't fall asleep on my 4 year old's face but it was the gateway to his wearing a mask. We called it his bandit mask and he thought it was cool. He couldn't hold himself up even with the synch on his back. When I tried to hold him higher on his back when his head, it went up in his eyes. He is little 4 years old. Maybe it was a bit too big for him. I still think it's a quality product.
