I've had this Express machine for a month now and when I unpacked the machine which weighs around 8lbs but is mostly plastic I was a little apprehensive , However, this corresponds to its ratings. Illy coffee pods taste better than Nespresso, I've used Nespresso many times and the coffee always tastes a bit burnt or bitter, but this system doesn't. It's amazing and creates great lather on top and is so easy to control and adjust. The compact system is easy to clean and empty very quickly to warm up with really good hot coffee and delicious drinks. I recommend a dark or medium espresso for a larger drink. Simply press and hold the left full cup button until you reach the desired level, then that setting will automatically save until you need to change it. The espresso button delivers precise and tasty espresso. , combined with a milk steamer, which you can purchase separately, makes espresso, latte and cappuccino just as good as a coffee shop. I ended up buying Francis Francis because I visit Europe often and have found that this brand and coffee system is the most widely used - now I understand why. Highly recommended and great value for money!
