This espresso machine works well. The only problem is that my husband had a bit of trouble programming the coffee strength. This type of coffee tastes great!

I really liked this espresso machine but I've had it for a little over a year and the screws on the bottom have rusted and now the whole machine is leaking. I don't know if the design is defective or if it's just my car, but I'm disappointed that it's virtually unusable in such a short amount of time.

I've had this in my office at work for a few weeks now. I also have a Y5 and other Francis Francis Illy cars. It's compact, has the same features (auto pod release, 2 cup fill presets) and makes a great cup of coffee. I didn't have running water and it makes a cup in less than 30 seconds after turning it off.

FOLLOW THE SETUP GUIDE BEFORE MAKING ESPRESSO, YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS IF YOU DON'T. I accidentally made an espresso without filling the machine and it wasn't great so I followed the instructions and restarted the machine then refilled as directed and now the machine is a dream come true. love it

This is a huge improvement over the De'Longhi BCO 330T I used to make cappucino with. I've never been a fan of pods, but since I'm the only coffee drinker in the house and my 1lb of beans grow old before I can eat them, iperEspresso pod technology suits me. I tried iperEspresso capsules brewed on a Francis Francis Y1.1 for the first time in a hotel and it was great. The espresso I brew at home with this machine is almost the same.

I've had this Express machine for a month now and when I unpacked the machine which weighs around 8lbs but is mostly plastic I was a little apprehensive , However, this corresponds to its ratings. First of all an absolutely beautiful car with elegant looks. I have it on my desktop and the profile is perfect. The Illy coffee is absolutely amazing, although I only wish they offered the decaffeinated Lungo (blue label) variety.
