My Toshiba has been overheating lately and I'm getting tired of looking for creative ways to elevate at least part of it off the table to improve airflow and cooling . It's a thin laptop, but still not a laptop, and while this stand isn't for it, I took a chance. I'm glad I did. I use the stand without fear of my laptop slipping off the bottom edge of the rubber grip, and the internal fan works more efficiently. The many height options for the stand are great and this little one is strong, light and folds thin and flat! Perfect for me who already has too many things in her bag/computer bag. So the bottom edge of my Toshiba laptop is getting narrower. If you have a thicker laptop with a flat edge, this probably won't work for you. For a laptop, I'm sure this is what you want.
