UPDATE: I've found that the round cupboard door bumpers also don't stay in place but push back, although they do stick fairly firmly once installed. This stand, one of two I was able to find, has a vertical configuration along an axis perpendicular to your seating position. That said, unlike other risers, the stand's supports are in the front and back, rather than on the side. This stand has more clearance than any other I've found.
