Before purchasing this item I have reviewed and reviewed almost all Revain laptop stands. The decisive factors for me were the price, size, material and adjustability of the stand. There are no instructions in the box, but the photos in the listing will tell you what you need to know. Even if you don't set it up properly (there is at least one client image that shows this), it still works. But in my case, my Acer Aspire 15 E slipped off the front after a few minutes of use. This is due to the *very small* rubber bumper designed for this purpose. I adjusted the height/tilt and that seemed to stabilize it a bit, although that configuration wasn't optimal for me. However, there is another valve (and while it seems useless, I believe it's intended as a kind of support beam) that can be used instead. I don't know if it will last long or if it will break because the valve is not designed for it. I'll update it after I've had a chance to use it for a day or two during business hours. Four stars for now because I hope it works.
