I really like these garlands! They burn after we go to bed so I don't know how long they last at night - even on a cloudy day! I would give 5 stars if the instructions were better. There are many different "modes" - types of blinking. But I haven't documented anywhere what these different "modes" are and in what order. The on/off switch is a button. So you can't see the current setting - is it off or on? You just have to use trial and error. Same goes for "modes" - you have to wait until it's dark (or close the light sensor) and try to toggle through the "modes". I thought I found a constant, but now I see it "blinks" from time to time. Anyway, apart from my complaints above - these are really nice, long lasting lights! I look forward to ordering more.
