Review on 🌬️ Scythe Kaze Flex 120mm Slim Fan: Ultra-Quiet PWM Fan for Case and CPU Cooling (Single Pack) by Sam Bell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Kaze is almost on par with the Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM in terms of performance and cheaper than

Kaze Flex 120 SLIM is definitely comparable to NF-A12x15 PWM. No other fan in this thin/thin 15mm class can boast that. This fan is said to be a bit louder than the NF-A12x15 PWM, but it doesn't stand out at all (actually, it doesn't). In terms of CFM, the fan moves almost the same amount of air (50 CFM versus 55 for NF). However, the static pressure is said to be *slightly* lower than the NF (1.35mm H20 vs the NF's assumed 1.53mm H20), which presented an issue as I was considering it for a radiator. SAME TEMPERATURE under CPU+GPU load. To be clear, both fans do a good job at 120 and 240 rads in two different liquid-cooled small form factor builds (S4Mini and S401). Basically, both fans should be equivalent within the error limit. Verdict: This fan is definitely as good as the NF-A12x15 PWM and has a definite edge over the NF thanks to Kaze's better rubber mounts and a VERY competitive price - it's $4 off as of December 2019. Sold. Well done Skif.

Pros
