I love this thing. I am on a strict diet and the hotel I stayed at did not have a microwave or coffee maker in the room. Yes. Dark Ages! So I solved the problem by buying this animal. I could heat water for coffee and tea and also use it to reheat cooked food. I have a friend who cooks eggs when traveling but I wasn't planning on traveling with raw eggs since I was flying. When you're on a strict diet, you need to get creative to maintain your health. My trick is to cook and freeze the proteins and then plan to eat them in my room, eat salads and veggies with travel companions at restaurants. It works, and thanks to this device, the lack of a microwave and coffee maker was not even noticed. My only suggestion would be to do this with a spout. The downside of this just required a little extra attention as you pour hot water into mugs and a V-filter for coffee.
