game chip. 4790k for that.

Yes, I know that Ryzen processors are cheaper and outperform Intel chips in everything. except hours. As a gamer, I want the fastest possible single-core speed, 16 instead of 32 threads? Anyway, I don't need that much for my usage lol. I don't update often and have so far still been using my trusty 4790k which is still holding up pretty well, but now at 10700k, 1080 my CPU is no longer the bottleneck and it's VERY noticeable in some of the games I play usually seen small problems. Should you upgrade the 9th gen or even the 8th gen to the 10th gen? To be honest, probably not. But when you say it's generations behind now, it's a worthy upgrade. Yes it's an updated 9900k but it's still good for $400! the beast. I haven't messed with the clock at all as the onboard amps do a great job, especially when paired with the D15, keeping it nice and cool. At full load, the temperature has not yet exceeded 60°C. 8 MONTHS UPDATE: Still working! I managed to get my hands on the 3080 from MicroCenter in September so my build is complete and the 3080/10700k combo beats anything I put to it.
