Just a friendly tip, they work with a MacBook (I have a mid 2010 MacBook Pro from 3.2017), but you need to buy an external graphics card for that. those. They don't just plug into an HDMI or USB port and work like a PC. I've used Startech USB to DVI and it works fine (there is a lag but I suspect it has more to do with the age of my computer than anything else). You need one of these for each monitor you plan to use (I use two monitors so I need two adapters). They're expensive ($90-$100 each) so take that into account.
