I have four different brands of training collars. I use them when catching dogs in the bushes. This is the only collar that looks like I can grab my dog by the collar and pull away. Others seem weak and are only meant to hold a training device on a dog but when moving fast in the bush I sometimes need to hold on to what I can to control my dog and I think this collar will hold. Lots of big rivets and the collar is made of nylon reinforced plastic. The buckle is also quite surly, and the small clip needs to be inserted into the collar hole with some force to make it feel secure. Finally, there is a small part of the buckle that holds the end of the collar and prevents accidental opening.
