Good idea, but not perfect. Phone can be difficult to place in holder and rubber tabs spring too easily

My expectations were a bit higher. In theory it looks great. In fact, it didn't fit well in our Audi Q5's cup holder, and the little rubber tabs that hold the phone in place came loose too easily. If you're careful with it, the function is fine, but it was difficult to get the Samsung S6 to snap easily.
