Review on Upgrade Your Audio Experience with Meze 99 Classics Walnut Silver Wired Over-Ear Headphones with Mic and Self Adjustable Headband by Anastazja Odyniec ᠌

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before making a purchase. The reviews were mostly positive, so I did not put it through any kind of testing before purchasing it. But in vain. The headphones have not yet been put through their paces. To get right to the point, I didn't like for the bass at all. Well, I'm not a bass hater at all, but there are just too many of them here. When I want to hear the mids and highs more clearly, I turn up the volume. However, this means that I can't listen to music for very long before my ears begin to hurt from the cumulative pressure of the sound. I purchased these headphones in order to replace the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro. I had hoped that they would be directly noticeable better than the DT 770 Pro, but instead they just have more bass. As I switched to a different kind of headphones, which were more expensive, I noticed that the bass was more strong, and the middle and high frequencies were clear and ringing. In general, people have different preferences, they listen to different music, the very combination of DAC + amplifier + headphones creates a single system with its own sound, therefore, it is possible that they will sound differently with other devices. But I went for a different pair of headphones, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. These are very good in design, in terms of price-quality ratio, they will appeal to those who used headphones of a cheaper class, but compared to the DT 770 Pro, I didn’t feel any jump up, and the bass kept hammering, so not my choice.

Pros
  • Lovely, well-made, and an excellent buy for the price. And both the package and the equipment appear like they would make a nice present if you were giving it to someone else.
Cons
  • Disliked the way it sounded. An excessive amount of bass. For me, the sound that comes through the headphones is, of course, the single most significant aspect.
