First of all I use regular nail polish. I find that some of the small stickers are too thick, don't lay flat and don't stick to the curve of my nail. Even if I use the silicone tool gently to press the decals onto the nail before applying the quick drying top coat, the edges lift and I end up applying coats of clear coat and trimming the edges of the decal with cuticle nippers. It's mostly related to the gem stickers, which is why I bought this whole set in the first place :( I think if you use gel or other polymers that dry under a lamp you won't have this problem.
