I also had a terrible matting problem after the SECOND use on my new floors. I installed brand new floors and applied Bona Gloss Polish. The first application looked beautiful, but the second, six months later, left a terrible haze. This product was very effective in restoring my floors to their original shine. I let the product sit for a full 10 minutes and it worked great. You don't have to rub too hard to remove the finish, but it will take a few wipes with Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner to remove any product residue. Be prepared to have a couple of Bona discs or microfiber cloths handy as you will need to wipe the floor with hardwood floor cleaner 3 or 4 times after applying the nail polish remover. Much luck! This is hope. With a little effort your floors will look like new when your success is the same as mine. My floors look as good as they did the day they were installed!👍
