Wow. I came back for 2 more after installing the battery (next year)! They're actually PURPLE, not pink (unlike those horrible cheap drugstore hard plastic Halloween things), AND it HAS MODES (8 of them)! Also, there are 40 little spiders/LEDs (long enough to impress!) -----again, MUCH CHEAPER 15 or so LED bulbs that you bought at your local pharmacy (or even anywhere here on amzn) for the same price to have. !They are made of some kind of (softer than usual) plastic, very different from those hard plastic lights. They have an initial slight plastic smell that should go away almost immediately :) Finally --- DECENT HOLIDAY DECOR is catching up with technology! :) Not to mention the case is ALSO cool - it snaps securely in place (much higher than those cheap black boxes you might be afraid you'll shatter from pushing too hard to remove that little battery cover) , it also has a hook for hanging (like a small nail/nail on a door or patio railing (can cover up a W-Web device/etc.)). And with lithium batteries, they pump all night - the next night and on! I'm excited. I think you too! (My photos do NOT do them justice. Purple appears blue (ignore the red light which makes the pair look pink) --- they are REAL PURPLE!. A. Pochanayan's video shows the best color :)). Buy them though---you'll love them if you're looking for REAL purple BOO lights :)
