This review is about "Replacing a Uniwork remanufactured ink cartridge for Epson". My printer is an older Workforce 646 that has been sitting with original ink cartridges for a few years this is my first time buying remanufactured ink cartridges I was excited to try them especially as they are only $13.99 for a pack of five CYM , 2 black costs). First I replaced all the empty cartridges. When I turned on the printer, I got a horrible message that "cartridge cannot be recognized". So I reached out to a Revain customer. Reviews of this product on Revain. Sometimes people offer solutions to common problems in their comments. In one review, one customer said he only swaps out cartridges "one at a time." So I opened up the printer and reinstalled all but one of the old idges carriers, restarted the printer and then replaced the next cartridge which the printer complained was empty. The error message has disappeared. The Epson Buy Ink utility does not read the ink levels from Uniwork cartridges. But for $14 and how many times I type, I don't care. I'll buy another set and keep it "just in case".
