Review on πŸͺ‘ Gemdeck Portable Telescoping Stool: Collapsible Folding Chair for Camping | Max Load 881lb by Redfish Rosenhoover

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy Portable Seat

I'm not a small person and I was very concerned that the "telescopic seat" would feel (and possibly be) flimsy. I was pleasantly surprised that these seats are very durable. Telescoping is achieved through an intelligent locking pin system, so slipping or loosening is really impossible. The bottom has a "tread ring" on the outside, but it's mostly solid so I'm pretty sure that won't happen. Dive too deep into soft soil. When there's a strike, you're sitting on a relatively hard plastic slab, but what you see is what you get, so that's no reason to dock the stars. I don't think a holdall is needed. It barely closes the seat. There is a spot on the strap around the seat where you can carry it, but not really the bag. I also think they fold/pack better without slippers.

Pros
  • Camping and Hiking
Cons
  • Poorly Thought Out
