"You're going to put out your eyes, kid." Well, I haven't used this thing much - less than 10 times, that's for sure. A few days ago I put it on a bottle and while I was sitting and watching TV the cork broke and the fragments scattered everywhere. There was a gunshot sound as it fell apart, and luckily the shells didn't damage the ceiling, my closets, or anyone in the house (as far as I can tell). And in case you're wondering, it didn't fall apart due to a temperature change or a shaking of the bottle, causing the gas in the bottle to expand - the bottle hasn't moved since I put the cork on, and the temp of the house has been from the start on stable. Summer. Anyway, this thing has worked fine a few times since I received it in April 2019 (now July 2020). However, it is dangerous to own this item and I can only hope that they have changed its design since I bought mine. Save money and never lose an eye.
