Review on Women'S 992 Thigh High Over The Knee Suede Boots With Inner Zipper by Terrell Ciula

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great looking boots for a good price.

Here are some things to consider about these boots:They have a round toe which gives your foot a little more room, but they are still a little tight putting them on. For reference, I'm 5'5" and got a size 7.5, which is what I normally wear. It is a little snug but not so much that I needed to size up. After wearing them for a bit, they stretch enough to be comfortable. The heel is pretty high, I think almost 4 inches. It's to the point where I almost feel uncomfortable walking in them. I'm more used to a 3-inch heel, so these are kind of pushing my limits. I wish they were maybe half an inch shorter to be more comfortable for walking. Don't plan to do a lot of walking in these boots. Some of the other reviewers have noted that the heel can wobble; I have not noticed that with my pair. The tie at the top does not really hold the boots up very well, no matter how tight you tie it. As a result, the boots will slouch a little bit. The zipper can buckle just a bit because of this as well, but overall I don't think the boots look bad. They stay up better if you wear them over pants. I wore them with tights underneath and found myself hitching them up all day.I almost returned these boots for the above reasons, but here's the bottom line: THEY JUST LOOK GOOD. They aren't the most comfortable or best fitting boots, but hey, for $45, I'll wear them a few times for a season because these boots really look good. One thing to be wary of: if you want the style with the thinner heel with the rounded toe, make sure you get the 992 style. The first time I ordered these, although I was looking at the right picture, I got different boots with a block heel, no zipper and no ties at the top. I think this style was actually 994, so apparently sometimes the picture does not match the style you actually get.

Pros
  • First pair of thigh high boots that fit my thick legs
Cons
  • Not suitable for individuals with a vegan lifestyle
