I have been doing yarn crafts for almost 40 years. Someone suggested trying a knitting machine. Now I'm not sure about others machines, but this one is terrible. 5 days not I've tried to make something. Even watched videos. A ton of dropped stitches no matter how slow I went and lots of holes. I'm going to return it and go back to my needles and hooks. Don't waste your money.

Seriously disappointed with this product. I bought this because I wanted a 40 pin knitting machine to go along with my Addy Pro and my Addy king. All I can say is there’s a massive quality difference. I also didn’t realize it does not come with a stitch counter which makes it very hard to know where you’re at in following your patterns. I couldn’t be more happy with this little knitting machine, it arrived with everything it stated was included (yarn/10 skeins, tools/needles) and works great! The price was fabulous and it does everything the more expensive machines do! The listing does say it is a Sentro but the machine has a Santro sticker on it, I don’t mind that at all because it works and it would be hard to find a better price!

I thought I’d be smart and will saw my kids hats in couple days. I was wrong. It was a bit hard to use. If the thread missed the hook, the whole thing is trashed and needs to be redone. I thing I wasted few of the yard a because I was lazy to unwind it. I wouldn’t recommend as it didn’t work for me.

Santro knitting machine has proven to be awesome at making hats for kids an esr warmers for every size - i put a an adapter on rhe handle an used a electric drill to spin it fast an it kept up with no problems -Would buy again !This one is oy 40 pegs so the hats dont work for adults but i plan on buying the 48 peg for adult hats

I really like the easy use! It takes about 10 minutes to make a beautiful hat or even a stuffed pumpkin. My only complaint is that sometimes it makes a very loud noise if the crank gets stuck. BUT it is so worth it!

It doesn't work. Sent me a lemon. 7 hooks aren't knitting properly. Im very disappointed as it was a gift for my mom, who will be 80 soon. She just opened it today when I visited her since a break in the weather. What a waste of money. 😞

I gave this as a gift for a very dear friend. It is NOT a SENTRO. It is a SANTRO. I am so disappointed that it has already locked up, several times now, and I cannot return it since the window is passed 3 days ago. It would not take many kinds of threads. It isn’t worth any amount of money to buy again. Guess I’ll buy my friend another SENTRO. The real one. NOT from Best Buy.

This is cheaper model of another well known machine from U.K.Plastic is not as sturdy,not as thick,little flimsy. Suction cups provide medium stability to table. Works fair with yarn #4 and lower but not thicker. It frequently drops stitches until one learns how to play around with it. Now there are similarly made and same color models at twice the price of this one but does not work as well. This was great deal for price. I just wish could use thicker yarn.

The directions were really hard to understand. I couldn't get it to work from the directions. I ended up watching a video on Google to find out how to use it. It's a neat machine once you learn how to do it.

Trying to make dog gone hats for the homeless. Only made 3 and took 2 of them out because I didn't like the way they turned out. Plus they didn't even fit my head, and I have a small head.Not what I expected to look like. Hard to crank the handle and I did have it on loose.I got this because the looms hurt my hands.I'll probably gift it to someone.

Poor instructions. Difficult for an adult to follow. With practice runs, it will work but not worth the frustration of multiple "redos”.

The worst set of instructions ever sent with a product. If I hadn’t watched several videos I would not have had a clue on how to use machine. The machine works well for the price.

Works great. You do need to try out different types of yarn to see what works. Made several things already and they all came out great.

It's a little stiff and sometimes sticks a little. But, for the price I'm very happy with what I can crank out in a very short amount of time.

Looks used has scratches, missing one of the needles and missing 6 balls of yarn! Not happy especially for the price paid.

This knitting machine is really great. Very easy to work with and so far I haven't had any issues and it's been over a year since I've had it. It doesn't come with a row counter but there's one you can buy on Best Buy for less than $15 so that's not really a big issue. I've made hats, scarves, even a pumpkin. I was excited to get the machine but there are some problems with the machine. It misses a ton of stitches which I have to redo a ton of times. One of the legs snapped off the first week I had it when I sat it down. Also doesn't come with a row counter. Other than all the problems i am still excited about the machine.

I was able to complete one full beanie with this thing before it stopped working on me and now everytime I try to use it it sounds like it's breaking and misses every other stitch somehow so you end up with a messed up end result that you have to undo. Not just that the panel knit option does not work and just sounds even worse while trying to use

Love the machine. It is fast and creats nice stitches. Once you learn how to use it properly it is a breeze to turn our small hats, fingerless gloves and ear warmers. I couldn't be more pleased. I have ordered the 22pin and am getting ready to order the 48 pin for adult hats.
