I ordered this product to have 4 monitors on my computer. I got the first one and it worked great for about a week. Then it would intermittently not start my monitors on boot. Regularly turned into every time I booted up. When I turn the device off and on again, the screens light up immediately. When I unplug the device and boot up my computer, I never have a problem with the pop-up screen. Returned the first hub and switched to another. After receiving it, I pocketed it for a replacement and it worked for 3 days. Stopped working on day 4 like the first stroke. As a last attempt, I read in a test report of another MST hub that it constantly needs electricity. So I bought a micro USB plug and plugged it in. No luck, same problem. I will return the second hub and try a different brand. Aside from starting issues, the hub worked great. The screens look great after launch and work great.
