Quality receiver from a trusted manufacturer.

Hello everybody! Today I will write a review about the radio. More specifically, we will focus on Panasonic's dual-band compact receiver, model RF-2400D. Not so long ago, the wired radio completely disappeared from the apartments, and without it it is very quiet and dreary. It was decided to buy a small receiver to listen to frequencies in the FM band. Many different receivers were reviewed from the cheapest receivers of unknown companies to expensive fancy boomboxes from famous companies. But the main requirement for the device was that it be compact, easy to operate, powered by 220V, as well as by batteries. In general, it was revised a lot of different things! But in the end, I came across an interesting model from the famous Panasonic brand, more precisely, their RF-2400D radio model. In terms of the look and quality of the material, it looks just Super! A sort of hello from the 90s. This is the box it was actually packed in. On the other side, the box looks like this. At the ends of the box there is information about the device that is necessary for the consumer. Inside the box, packed from the ends in foam, lies the receiver itself. The receiver comes with a 220V power cable and a warranty card with an instruction manual. This is what the receiver looks like without packaging. The receiver has a convenient carrying handle. The receiver has a large, rather loud speaker. It's mono, of course, but the radio stations sound decent. The receiver has a very convenient large scale for searching for stations. The receiver has the ability to receive only 2 types of stations, in the FM and AM bands. The numbers are large, the search bar is bright. Above the scoreboard with the search scale is a switch. It can be located in 3 positions: OFF is when the receiver is off, FM is when the search frequency is in the FM band and AM is when the search frequency is in the AM band. Switching this lever moves the orange dot to the desired position. Nearby there is still a window with the inscription TUNING. When you are looking for a radio station with the slider and the reception is not very good, this box is not lit, and when the frequency has a more accurate signal and reception, this box lights up red. A very handy feature for more precise tuning of radio frequencies. The rear of the receiver looks like this. Here we see a plate with the name of the receiver model, its place of production Indonesia and other information. At the bottom you can see a small window with a door for installing finger-type batteries. There are 4 of them installed. At the top of the receiver is a telescopic antenna. In the extended position, it looks like this. On the left side of the receiver is a connector for connecting the power cable. On the right side are other controls. The biggest twist is the frequency search slider for stations, it is very convenient to use it to search for radio station frequencies. A little lower is the volume control wheel. and even lower is the headphone jack. The receiver is made of very high quality thick plastic, very pleasant to the touch. These were mostly made 15-20 years ago. There is nothing superfluous in the receiver. Only 2 frequency ranges, convenient control knobs, a convenient carrying handle, a folding antenna and the ability to use this receiver from 2 types of power supply: 220 V or 4 pieces of ordinary AA batteries. In terms of the quality of the FM band reception, the receiver works very well, it catches all known waves, the sound volume is at a good level. In general, if you or someone you know needed a high-quality simple radio receiver, then this Panasonic RF-2400D model is what you need. Buy with confidence, you won't be disappointed.
