Connected directly to a USB-C output on an HP Specter x360 15.6. Fully powered by a laptop with a bright display. The touchscreen responds very well. The only drawback are the built-in speakers. (Reason for removing the asterisk.) Can be powered by an external USB source such as a power bank, allowing it to be used as a large external display for mobile phones and gaming consoles. Various input options make it a true portable display at half the price of more limited displays.
