The first time I used one the sack broke as soon as I lifted it out of the bin. The second time around I decided to double it up and so far so good. I love that they are biodegradable and big enough to hold a week's worth of kitchen waste. I have to use a 13g lidded container to keep the cats out of it and since I use two a week they fly out quicker than I planned. I love that I can toss them in the compost truck once a week instead of lugging a small kitchen basket in the truck a few times a week. Since they are biodegradable, the packaging warns that moisture (moisture) can biodegrade them once the box is opened, which is why they recommend putting a few crumpled up paper towels in the opened box. I've only had them open for a couple of weeks, so I can't tell if this tip will extend the shelf life or not.
