Overall this is a good comb
I originally decided to return it after receiving it because the comb was too short. However, I changed mine after use. It was a pretty good comb and I didn't seem to lose much hair when combing wet hair. I'm honestly not an expert on the material, real sandalwood or not, but the comb is pretty damn good for me and better than other brands. The only downside is that it's too short. I wish they would have made them with longer handles as well. PS The price is right too.
