Ideal choice after shipping another type of dish. We needed good dishes with a volume of 7-9 cups with lids. This holds about exactly 11 cups, but I think you'd have to be a tightrope walker not to spill it when it's full to the brim. So the lid isn't as airtight but suits my needs for homemade soup and shelf height where my old Tupperwear container fits just perfectly. And since tomato stains are no longer a problem, the application is much more pleasant. Finally.
