GENERAL Premium cut quality at an affordable price. Great for pourovers. It's nice to have a hand sander to take with you when travelling, camping etc and for days at home when you have a little more time to do everything by hand it provides a nice soothing break from the rest of the day WHY A HAND SANDER? - Mobility. You can take it with you on the road, on a hike, etc. - Noise. Not waking up the house - ritual. The grinding and brewing process is both pleasant and soothing. Gets me disconnected from the rest of the day - Cheaper entry into freshly ground coffee. Simply grinding is better than pre-grinding (loss of taste, oxidation, etc.). THOUGHTS ON C2 MAX - great grind quality at a great price. This price is achieved by replacing some parts of the construction with plastic parts, e.g. B. some of the internal parts of the frame, lid, knob, etc. In this note, I was pleased to note that many more parts of this model are metal than in other variants of the C2. (especially the grinding wheel!) - Good tapered steel burrs. Smooth grinding. For my coffee (medium roast, keg) I can easily grind 20-30g without breaking a sweat in no time. I expect the time/effort to go up a lot for those who do very well (e.g. espresso, don't know if that would work for that). Slight retention, didn't have to increase the dose. MAX can easily grind and hold 30g (see photo)! It was a big win over some other C2 models. Easy to set up and customize. Slide it all the way to the right, then start counting the number of steps depending on the grind you want (I use 22 steps for my pour overs - the instructions give a number of steps for each brewing method). The outer texture makes it easier to hold when sanding. I can just open the lid and place the rest of the unit on the scale to fill and weigh the beans instead of using a different container to weigh the beans. - Easy to clean and disassemble. Simply use the brush provided for daily cleaning. For a thorough cleaning, turn the knob further to the left and the entire block will be disassembled. Just assemble things in the right order (there is a picture in the manual if needed).
