So far I'm a bit disappointed with this product. I am a truck driver and bought it for truck use. I got everything set up and installed, I've been using it for a week now. I have two main problems. First, the display is fairly dim for daytime use. There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the brightness. This is a blue LED indicator. When it's in absolutely direct sunlight it seems to switch to a yellowish screen that's relatively legible, but when it's in indirect light it's nigh on impossible, especially with sunglasses on. The second is the outside temperature/thermometer. I ran the cable through the door but it doesn't go as far as I'd like. I managed to stick it on the door itself, near the mirror but not on it. This is inaccurate, at least according to local weather reports. I could understand the 1-2° difference, but the difference was about 10°. I wonder if they work a little better further in the mirror, maybe I need to put the clock closer to the door and try. about anything it seems good for up to this point.
