First its a large for the most part. My head measures 23 and and a quarter and the hat fits me well. Second its very light and folds up pretty small for travel. I wore in on a hot humid day and my head never over heated. Before writing this review I tested the water proof claim. I ran water inside it under the faucet. It held, did not leak through. I only let it sit full of water for a minute but it didn't leak at all. Mine is pretty much a nice gray color in my opinion. Looks good fits good doesn't overheat my head and holds water. Good hat.
