I've had greasy hair my whole life but it wasn't until a few years ago that I discovered that the standard shampoos I've used my whole life actually make my scalp produce oil faster. It struck me as odd that if I did NOT remove all of the oils from my scalp my hair would become less greasy, but experiments have confirmed this. ) is no longer produced. I tried some other products that I didn't like. But this one was the perfect replacement. And at a very reasonable price! How I use this product: I ONLY rub it into my scalp so it can wash away the dirt without stripping the oil. Then I rinse thoroughly. I then use a moisturizing shampoo BUT I don't rub it into my scalp - I only use it to remove dirt and oil from my scalp. This gives me twice as much time between washes as I used to - four days instead of two. With long hair, this makes a big difference.
