Good filter. Bought to use with a 3 stage whole house water filter to use in combination with a sediment filter and an iron reduction filter. When we moved into our new house, the water in our well was gross and smelled bad. After testing, the water was found to be safe, but contained many minerals and impurities. I was skeptical about the filter's ability to clean it, but it did the job. The water is crystal clear and has no smell. The filters have now been installed for 3 months and show no signs of slowing down, I have not had to replace them yet. Water quality and pressure are still good. We highly recommend this filter when used in combination with other filters. You should at least put a sediment filter upstream of this filter to extend the life of this filter.
