Works on Sony, Fuji and Canon

And I'm not sure why it won't be on Panasonic. Yes, I have GAS and I have tried all of the above systems. Specifically, I tried this with the X-T30, A6600 and Canon RP. Several things prevent it from being 5 stars. 1. I'm not sure why this mic shouldn't be set to 90 degrees from the start. All camera mics are on the side of the camera, so why is it facing straight out? You need to buy a 90 degree adapter. They cost about $7 on Amazon. They cost around $1.2 on your favorite bid page. He's running hot! This thing will peak at all your standard sound levels. When using, be sure to set the microphone levels on the camera. With my Sony, they are completely omitted from 1 to 3. Without a mic, I'm 23 (internal mic). With my Canon and Fuji, I also often set the levels.3. It's omnidirectional, meaning it picks up all the surrounding sounds. If you're recording at home and have a fan or air conditioner on, make sure you turn everything off before you start recording. it will rise. That's why this microphone works great in a quiet room with no background noise. Overall, the sound quality is crystal clear. As mentioned above it gets pretty hot so make sure you lower the level of all mics and you should be fine. The omnidirectional aspect sucks. If you record on the street, you will surely see passing cars, trains, birds and so on. Unbeatable in this price range and compact size. I'm so glad I got it. There's no recording camera on board that performs better than this one. It might not be the best, but it will definitely outperform your cameras on board the system.

Great sound, but too hot for Panasonic G9 or Sony FDRx3000
