Great sound but too hot for Panasonic G9 or Sony FDRx3000

Great sound but too hot for Panasonic G9 or Sony FDRx3000. In my opinion, this mic sounds better than the more expensive ETM-003, but the output is too hot for the cameras mentioned. I also love omnidirectionality. With the G85, this worked almost without any problems when the preamp was turned all the way down. I've tried using attenuators but I don't think they will work with the camera that came with "Plug-in Power". AkA with low phantom power. The mic works, but as the audio gets louder the

Signal is too hot for my A7iii

I bought this to use with my A7iii but the signal is too hot even with the mic input volume set to 1 . This is normal when speaking at a normal volume about 2 feet away indoors. As you get closer/louder, the sound will be distorted. When you run out of ambient noise, everything you ever want to record will definitely get cut off from time to time. However, the sound quality is very good if you can avoid clipping. Sony cameras tend to have a better mic preamp so this probably won't work without…

I really like this mic and cannot praise it enough.

I only recently heard about the Edutige range of microphones and decided to try this one because it was so cheap I thought why not and I'm so glad I did. Thing sounds amazing. This is a great mic for vLogging with lots of gain and a warm bass sound. I use it a lot with my GoPro Hero 7 because the GoPro has pretty weak preamps and with this mic you get a really nice, clean, loud but not too loud sound. The mic comes with a foam windscreen that works well, but if you're going to be outdoors in…

Problems with Sony cameras

I had high hopes for this product after seeing and hearing many reviews on YouTube. From what I've seen, the sound quality of this mic is actually better than Edutige's more expensive ETM-008. Unfortunately with Sony cameras, both the RX100VII and my A7R3, with the input sensitivity set to the lowest value of "1", the output is too hot and results in horrible distortion. I've attached a photo of me speaking at mid level just about 2 inches from the mic and you can see it's already fixing the…

Very compact mic that fits my modified akaso v50x great

I removed the internal mic from my akaso v50x and used its connectors to plug it into the 3.5mm jack for access on aftermarket external microphones. The v50x's audio processor seems a bit limited, so no matter what microphone you plug into it, it won't be able to produce a wide dynamic range of audio. I read some reviews on this mic that said it was too hot. That's why I packed it. When I use it on my v50x it is NOT too hot. I've done very limited testing with it because I've just plugged it in

Works on Sony, Fuji and Canon

And I'm not sure why it won't be on Panasonic. Yes, I have GAS and I have tried all of the above systems. Specifically, I tried this with the X-T30, A6600 and Canon RP. Several things prevent it from being 5 stars. 1. I'm not sure why this mic shouldn't be set to 90 degrees from the start. All camera mics are on the side of the camera, so why is it facing straight out? You need to buy a 90 degree adapter. They cost about $7 on Amazon. They cost around $1.2 on your favorite bid page.
