Wow these straws are a great healthy addition to my lifestyle. My daughter always used the plastic version. I finally decided to order a healthier alternative to drinking straws and I'm glad I did. Glass seems more comfortable than plastic, and I put herbal powder in my glass of iced tea. The herbal blend kept settling to the bottom of my drink so I can use this straw as a blender and use the straw to sip tea. The problem is solved. Beads Alink glass straws have a straight even cut on both ends and are individually wrapped in a box and then wrapped in another box. Nice. (I use a tall, narrow wine glass to hold these straws; I put an unbleached coffee filter basket in the bottom of the glass to cushion and absorb it.) I definitely recommend Beads' Alink Glass Straws to others!
