98 Jeep Cherokee with Chrysler 8.25 rear axle

They fit perfectly on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ with Chrysler 8.25 rear axle. I'll be honest, drum brakes aren't easy, especially if you've never done one before. There are several moving parts and springs that must fit together perfectly for the entire brake assembly to function properly. If you have a good basic mechanical knowledge and tools, you can do it in a few hours. It would be helpful if someone could help you, but you can do that yourself. Be sure to watch a YouTube video explaining how to replace drum brakes first and also take photos of the brakes from all angles before taking them apart so you know how to put them back together. I also suggest purchasing a brake drum kit ($20-$30) to replace any stock springs and parts as they are most likely rusted or broken. Before reinstalling the wheels, check each side with the drum to make sure the brakes are working properly. Also make sure the brakes are properly adjusted using the bottom "click adjuster". YouTube videos should explain this in more detail. They've been installed for a couple of weeks and seem to be working fine with no noise. Was thinking about revising the disc brakes but that's another story/project lol.
